1. Marquee

This spacious venue was the ultimate nightclub experience ever since it first opened in 2003. Though the allure has worn off a bit, but Marquee is still one of the best New York City nightclubs in town. It is toughest to get into the nightclub on Thursdays.

2. Le Baron

With the DJ eclectic mix of Disco, French beats and Pop, there are also live bands performing in Le Baron. Tucked in a corner in Chinatown, it was as if one is transported into another world in Le Baron. The red and black interior of the nightclub adds intrigue and mystery to the space.

3. Southside

This is one of the best nightclubs in New York City. It has great drinks and a sleek decor with chequered floors. The crowd is definitely eclectic with hipsters, bankers and waiters all sharing the same space. As more people hear about this nightclub, it gets harder and harder to enter the club.

4. Lil’ Charlie’s

This up-scale lounge is a hideaway for those who want a more intimate place to hang out. The glittering decor and mirror make the space appear vast and there is no shortage of space for those who are looking to dance.

5. Max Fish

Max Fish is a pseudo dive bar in the Lower East Side where the hipsters and wannabe hipsters hangout. It is said to be one of the best pickup places in the city. There is a jukebox, pinball machine and pool table.

6. Le Finale

With its music of techno emphasis and mix of pop and hip hop, this nightclub has hosted some of the top names in techno music within its LED lit huge property on the Lower East Side. This is the place to go and check out if you are into techno music. There is some quality techno music going on at Le Finale.

7. Oak

This is great for those who would like to avoid the crowds. Oak is regarded as a celeb hangout and many celebrities have been spotted at this nightclub. Forget about entering the club if you do not know anyone from there. Once you manage to get through the tough entrance, you will be greeted with a spacious dance floor and tasteful decor. Since it is a high class hangout, do make sure that you are appropriately dressed.

8. The Blind Barber

As the name suggests, in the backroom of this up-scale barber shop lies an exquisite lounge and bar with a vintage feel. Playing old hiphop and pop music in the nightclub, patrons relax in the velvet couches or dance on the chequered floor. Go for this nightclub if you want a haircut and a drink at the same time.

9. Kiss and Fly

Kiss and Fly is another nightclub which is difficult to get into unless you know someone there. The strict door policy means that there are lots of beautiful people inside the club.
