Top 5 Games For The Xbox One
As with every generation of consoles, upon release the next-generation will already have a sizable catalog of games to play. In this article, we’ll look at the top 5 games that you should look at for the Xbox One. So without further ado, here they are in no particular order.
1. Dead Rising 3
Dead Rising 3 has always been a bit of an oddity, the very genre (Zombies) has been done to the death but with it’s emphasis on humor, the Dead Rising series has always been a lot of fun. This game has a number of promising features such as the large open world and a more complex crafting system. The game will also utilize the Xbox One’s kinect microphone. The feature can be enabled whereby any loud or sudden noises from the player can attract the attention of zombies.
2. Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag
Whilst not an Xbox One game per se, this title should be epic on the next-generation of consoles. The Assassins Creed series has always been stellar in terms of graphics and art direction, with it’s fantastic mix of stunning historical settings and action-packed scenes.
3. Ryse: Son of Rome
Ryse is an interesting new IP from Crytek. This action adventure game is set in ancient Rome (If the title wasn’t a dead giveaway) where the player, a Roman general, takes part in an “epic life-spanning story of revenge”. The pre-release footage looks excellent and it’s a pretty original idea that makes it worth a look.
4. Forza Motorsport 5
The 5th entry in the critically acclaimed racing simulation game. Not much to say about this one, it’s just a fantastic racing simulation that all gamers with an interest in cars should pick up.
5. Watch Dogs
Releasing on current and next-gen consoles at around the same time, Watch Dogs is the highly anticipated action adventure stealth game from Ubisoft Montreal. It was revealed way back in 2012, showing off some of it’s features such as the open-world and the players ability to hack and then manipulate almost any electronic device. There’s a lot to like about Watch Dogs and a new IP from Ubisoft Montreal (Assassins Creed) is always welcome.
